Welcome to Grief Support Services
TRANSITIONS was extremely helpful to my family, especially since my father’s death occurred during the holidays. Other than distant relative’s deaths, my father’s death was the saddest personal experience I have had to deal with. The wording and ideas in TRANSITIONS helped us get through the first year.
I received a lot of comfort and understanding as to why I felt the way I did during various times during my first year of grieving, thanks to the newsletter. I continue to refer to the newsletters often for encouragement and strength.
TRANSITIONS articulates so many of the feelings one experiences during the difficult bereavement period. Just seeing the words in print somehow helps in healing . . . . As we try to care for those who cared for us, we are devastated when we feel that ‘we have lost the battle.’ TRANSITIONS helped me to understand and validate my feelings.
We are greatly appreciative of the funeral home for sharing the newsletter with us after the loss of our twin girls. We’ve enjoyed TRANSITIONS and look forward to the next issue. Our family has found the newsletters helpful also. Thank You!!
I thought the newsletter was extremely helpful. I am not very articulate and it helped me find the words to express to my family, my feelings and helped them to understand theirs. Thank you so much for the great letters.
The information was excellent and timely. I did purchase two books that were recommended. Thank you for the support.
It was a great help, especially through the holidays. Thank you so much.
I thought this was an excellent way for the funeral director to show they really cared about my loss. It would be great if all funeral homes would include this newsletter as a service!
It helped me see, feel and understand all that I was going through.
